Welcoming the Canadian Association of Science Centres to the Halmyre Exchange

We are pleased to share the news that the Canadian Association of Science Centres (CASC) has engaged Halmyre to help it in its journey to more deeply support and connect the informal science learning sector. The association’s first step is to build the infrastructure it needs to realize its long-term goals.

CASC selected Halmyre through a proposal process. “We’re pleased to partner with Halmyre on this project – it’s just not something we have the capacity to do in-house,” says Marianne Mader, CEO of CASC.

Halmyre’s work will analyze CASC’s enterprise-wide business requirements for its technology, identify a short list of potential solution partners, and then structure an independent RFP process to help make the selection process as stress-free as possible.

Halmyre is currently working on five other similar association management system (AMS) projects with other associations. “I think our strengths on this type of project are our independence and our ability to get the best total-cost solution for our clients. We’re not selling anything. And we know just how important an AMS is to an association’s ability to grow,” explains Ursula Green, Halmyre’s VP and Chief Experience Officer.

The project is scheduled to run through the second quarter of 2023, enabling the client to make informed decisions in short order. “Halmyre’s knowledge and service orientation shone through for us. We know we’re in good hands,” concluded Ms. Mader.
